RPSC SI Recruitment 2021 Result: Latest Updates and PET Standards

An important update has emerged for lakhs of candidates waiting for the RPSC SI Recruitment 2021 Result (RPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021 Result). According to the Patrika published from Ajmer, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is rapidly engaged in the process of checking the OMR sheets of the Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment Re-examination-2021. The eager eyes of the candidates who took the exam are now completely fixed on the final result of the Commission. The final result will be released by the Commission only after a thorough study of all technical aspects related to the exam and the resolution of objections filed by the candidates.

RPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021: Latest Status of Result

The RPSC Sub Inspector recruitment exam is considered one of the most prestigious and tough exams in the state. Ever since the conduct of the exam, candidates have been eagerly waiting for its results. The evaluation of OMR sheets is being done very carefully by the Commission so that there is no error of any kind in the result.

According to the Ajmer Patrika report, the Commission is currently closely studying and testing all technical aspects related to the examination. In addition, the objections raised by the candidates during and after the examination are being completely resolved. Only after the completion of all these processes, the RPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021 Result will be announced on the official website.

Candidate Attendance Statistics in the Exam

The participation of candidates in the written examination conducted under this recruitment process was quite encouraging. The Commission had conducted the written exam under the Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021 on September 20. The statistics of candidates appearing for the Hindi subject and General Knowledge & General Science subject in this exam are as follows:

Description / Paper NameRegistered CandidatesAttended CandidatesAttendance Percentage (Approx.)
General Hindi2,18,1141,51,77469.58%
General Knowledge & General Science (GK & GS)-1,50,559-

These statistics make it clear how tough the level of competition is going to be in this exam. While more than 1.51 lakh candidates appeared in the Hindi subject paper, more than 1.50 lakh candidates also registered their attendance in the General Knowledge paper.

Determination of Category-wise Cut-off Marks

Along with the declaration of the written exam results, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will also release the cut-off marks for various categories. Based on the category-wise cut-off marks to be released by the Commission, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage, i.e., the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Based on the written exam, separate cut-off marks will be released for the following categories:

  • General Category
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST)
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC)
  • More Backward Classes (MBC)
  • Sahariya

The Commission will determine the minimum qualifying marks and cut-off for each category based on the difficulty level of the written exam and the number of candidates present.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Next Stages of Selection Process

Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the next and highly crucial stage of the selection process—the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This test will be conducted by the Police Headquarters.

The Physical Efficiency Test is of a total of 100 marks, in which it is mandatory for candidates to secure a minimum of 50% marks to pass. The standards and marks distribution of the Physical Efficiency Test for male and female candidates are detailed in the tables below:

Important Tips for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Preparation

After the declaration of the written exam result, not much time is given for the physical exam. Therefore, candidates who feel they will clear the expected cut-off should start their physical preparation right away. Here are some important tips for preparation:

  • Start Regular Practice: Include regular practice of running, long jump, and pull-ups/shot put in your daily routine. Do not put too much pressure on your body initially; instead, gradually build your endurance.
  • Focus on Stamina and Speed: The 100m race requires speed and agility. Practice sprinting regularly for this.
  • Adopt the Right Technique: Using the correct technique during long jump and pull-ups not only improves performance but also reduces the chances of injury.
  • Eat a Balanced Diet: With increased physical exertion, the body requires proper nutrition. Include protein, vitamins, and an adequate amount of fluids (water and juice) in your diet.

Important Advice: It is extremely important to avoid any major injury during physical exam preparation. Never forget to warm up before practice and stretch after practice.

Conclusion and the Way Forward

RPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021 is a golden opportunity for youth dreaming of serving the nation by joining the Rajasthan Police. After the release of the written exam results, the selection process will become even faster. Candidates are advised not to waste their time waiting for the results and to take the preparation for the Physical Efficiency Test with utmost seriousness.
