There is great news for candidates waiting for the results of exams conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB). Board Chairman Alok Raj has announced on social media the approval of the Pre-DV (Pre-Document Verification) results for the RSSB BCI Result 2026 (Basic Computer Instructor), SCI (Senior Computer Instructor), and Mahila Supervisor (Women Supervisor) exams. In an important board meeting held on November 4, 2026, the results of these three major exams were officially approved. If you also participated in this recruitment exam, your wait is now completely over, and the results will soon be made available on the board's official website.
In this article, we will provide you with every detail, big and small, related to this result. We will discuss how a large number of seats are going to remain vacant this time as well in the Basic Computer Instructor (BCI) exam, what the cut-off calculation will be, and how you can download your result.
The Chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Alok Raj, confirmed this result by sharing a post on his official social media handle 'X' (formerly Twitter). Congratulating the successful candidates immediately after the board meeting, he wrote:
"The board approved the pre-DV results of BCI, SCI, and Mahila Supervisor exams in today's meeting. Many congratulations and best wishes to all the successful candidates. In BCI, due to an insufficient number of candidates securing the minimum required marks, many seats will remain unfilled."
It is clear from this announcement that the board has completed all internal processes for releasing the results. Now, candidates will get the opportunity to check their roll numbers directly on the website without any delay.
The biggest and most shocking news regarding this result is that a large number of seats are going to remain vacant once again in the Basic Computer Instructor (BCI) recruitment. A vast majority of the candidates who took the exam could not clear its stringent rules.
According to the rules of the Rajasthan Computer Instructor recruitment, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks individually in both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Provisions for some relaxation have been made for reserved categories as per the rules.
This is not the first time that seats are remaining vacant in the Computer Instructor recruitment. In the previously conducted Computer Instructor recruitment as well, thousands of seats remained vacant due to the difficult level of the exam and the mandatory requirement of scoring 40% marks individually in both papers. The same situation has been repeated this time as well, as an adequate number of candidates were unable to cross this minimum threshold. Consequently, hundreds of seats will remain vacant due to the lack of qualified candidates.
The table below provides complete details of these three major exams, their vacancies, and exam dates:
| Exam Name | Total Vacancies | Exam Date | Current Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Computer Instructor (BCI) | 3,629 | August 22, 2026 | Pre-DV Result Approved (November 4, 2026) |
| Senior Computer Instructor (SCI) | 322 | August 23, 2026 | Pre-DV Result Approved (November 4, 2026) |
| Mahila Supervisor (Women Supervisor) | 72 | July 24, 2026 | Pre-DV Result Approved (November 4, 2026) |
Once the link for the results is activated by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, candidates can check their RSSB BCI Result 2026 by following the simple steps given below:
rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.Ctrl + F (or the search icon on mobile). If your roll number appears in the list, you have been declared successful for the next stage.Candidates who are declared successful in this Pre-DV result will now have to undergo the next stage, which is the Document Verification (DV) process. This is an extremely crucial part of the selection process.
The approval of the Pre-DV results by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board is a huge relief for thousands of candidates who had been waiting for this crucial milestone in their careers for a long time. However, the fact that seats remain vacant in the Computer Instructor (BCI) recruitment indicates that candidates need to change their preparation strategy, keeping in mind the changing pattern and difficult level of the exam.
