RSMSSB JEN Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 874 Junior Engineer Posts

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification and Age Limit

1. Educational Qualification

The applicant must possess a Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from any recognized university or institution:

  • Civil Engineering: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering: Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (for specific posts as per departments).
  • Other Qualifications: Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and a basic understanding of Rajasthani culture are essential.

2. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years (as of 1 January 2027)
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • Age Relaxation: As per the rules of the Government of Rajasthan, special relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved categories (such as OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and female candidates) as per regulations.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Selection in the RSMSSB JEN 2026 exam will be done entirely on the basis of merit. Its selection process is mainly divided into the following stages:

  1. Written Examination: This exam may be conducted through offline OMR sheet-based, Computer Based Test (CBT), or Tablet Based Test (TBT) modes.
  2. Document Verification (DV): Candidates successful in the written exam will be called for the verification of their original documents.
