Rajasthan RSSB CET Graduation Level 2026: Notification, Dates, Eligibility, and Apply Online

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), Jaipur, has officially set the stage for one of the most anticipated state-level examinations of the year. The official Rajasthan RSSB CET Graduation Level 2026 Notification (Advt. No. 09/2026) has been released. This Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a mandatory gateway for graduates aspiring to secure prestigious subordinate and clerical positions across various government departments in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan RSSB CET Graduation Level 2026: An Overview

The Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the Graduate Level is not a direct recruitment exam but a qualifying screening test. Candidates who clear this exam with the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to apply for the secondary, post-specific main recruitment exams or interviews conducted by the respective state departments.

The RSSB has structured the exam to streamline the recruitment process and ensure only the most qualified candidates proceed to the final selection rounds.

Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit and Educational Qualifications

To apply for the Rajasthan RSSB CET Graduation Level 2026, candidates must meet the specified age and educational requirements set by the board.

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Government of India. Final-year graduation students may also apply, provided they produce proof of passing the degree before the final recruitment exams of the specific posts they target.

2. Age Limit (As of January 1, 2027)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxations apply to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and Women candidates) as per the prevailing rules of the Rajasthan State Government.

Posts and Services Covered Under CET Graduate Level

Clearing the Rajasthan CET Graduate Level opens up opportunities for several highly sought-after administrative, clerical, and field-based posts. The scorecard will act as your entry ticket to apply for the main examinations of the following services:

  1. Platoon Commander (Rajasthan Home Guard Subordinate Service)
  2. Patwari (Rajasthan Engineering Subordinate Irrigation Service)
  3. Junior Accountant (Rajasthan Subordinate Accounts Service)

  12. Hostel Superintendent (Male/Female) Grade-II (Rajasthan Tribal Area Development State & Subordinate Service)

Understanding the Selection Process and Qualifying Marks

The CET is the first phase of a multi-stage selection process.

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the CET Graduate Level exam to be considered eligible for subsequent post-specific recruitment drives.
  • Relaxation: Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) receive a 5% relaxation, bringing their minimum qualifying threshold to 35%.
  • Validity: Once you qualify, your CET scorecard remains valid for 3 years from the date of the result declaration. This means you can use the same scorecard to apply for any matching graduate-level vacancies released by the RSSB over the next three years.

Pro Tip: Simply scoring 40% ensures eligibility, but scoring high is critical. For highly competitive posts, departments will shortlist candidates for the main exam based on a merit list drawn from the top CET scorers (typically 15 times the number of vacant posts).

How to Apply Online for Rajasthan CET 2026

Follow these steps to submit your application successfully:

Preparation Strategy for the December Exam

With the exam scheduled to take place from December 1 to December 3, 2026, candidates have a solid window to plan and execute their preparation strategy.

  • Master the Rajasthan GK: A significant portion of the syllabus focuses on the history, culture, geography, polity, and economy of Rajasthan. Dedicate daily study hours to mastering state-specific general knowledge.
  • Focus on Core Subjects: The exam will test your aptitude in General Science, Indian Polity, Geography, History, Mental Ability, English, Hindi, and basic Computer proficiency.
  • Practice with Mock Tests: Because the exam is offline (OMR-based), practicing physical mock tests and filling out OMR sheets will help you improve your speed and minimize silly errors.
  • Stay Updated on Current Affairs: Keep a close eye on both national current affairs and major policy decisions, welfare schemes, and budget highlights of the Rajasthan Government.

To streamline your preparation, access high-quality study materials, syllabus breakdowns, and expert-curated mock tests on Patame Study. Staying consistent and utilizing structured resources will give you the competitive edge needed to secure a top score in the CET. Keep practicing, analyze your mock performance regularly, and stay focused on your goals!
