Rajasthan Police has provided an excellent government job opportunity for former Agniveers (Ex-Agniveers) who have served the nation. According to the recently released official notification, under the Rajasthan Police Agniveer Recruitment 2026, provisional appointment letters (Provisional Offer of Appointment) have been issued to a total of 37 ex-Agniveers from 15 districts of the state for the post of Constable. Joining the Rajasthan Police is considered a major and historic step for these youth who have completed four years of rigorous military service.
Through this recruitment process, the Police Headquarters (PHQ) has issued direct appointment letters to rehabilitate ex-Agniveers and integrate them into mainstream security services. This appointment offer has been issued under the signature of DIG (Recruitment and Promotion Board) Manoj Kumar. This initiative is also an excellent and inspiring example for other youth preparing for Government Jobs 2026.
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 37 candidates have been selected from various districts of Rajasthan. Among these, the highest number of selections is from Nagaur district, where a total of 7 youth have received job offers. In the table below, you can see all 15 districts and the number of candidates selected from there:
| District | Number of Selected Candidates |
|---|---|
| Nagaur | 7 |
| Churu | 5 |
| Bharatpur | 4 |
| Jaipur | 3 |
| Jhunjhunu | 3 |

The most crucial stage for the selected candidates is their Document Verification. According to the instructions issued by the Police Headquarters, all selected candidates must physically present themselves to verify their original documents.
Important Note: The final appointment and posting will entirely depend on the candidate's eligibility, Medical Fitness, and successful physical verification of documents. If any discrepancy is found in any document, the candidature may be cancelled.
To secure the final appointment to the post of Rajasthan Police Constable, candidates must appear with the following original documents and their self-attested photocopies:
Selected candidates are being given provisional appointments directly to the post of Rajasthan Police Constable. However, the decision on which district, unit, or cadre (such as General Constable, Driver, or other special cadres) will be allotted to them will be based on certain specific parameters:
According to police officials, due to the rigorous tactical training and discipline received in the Army, these ex-Agniveers will prove to be highly valuable to the police force.
Since the launch of the Agnipath Scheme by the Central Government on June 14, 2022, policies are being formulated in various states of the country for the rehabilitation of ex-Agniveers. Recently, in Maharashtra as well, 282 ex-Agniveers were appointed as police constables. In this sequence, this step by the Rajasthan Government will provide new strength to the state's law and order.
This recruitment process has been implemented in reference to the Department of Personnel's notification dated October 15 and the Home Department's letter dated October 17. The inclusion of disciplined and trained Army personnel into the police force is expected to significantly improve ground-level law and order management and the efficiency of the police.
If you too are preparing for the Rajasthan Police or other state-level competitive exams, you can use Patamde mock tests and study material to strengthen your preparation, where you will find study material based on the latest syllabus and exam pattern.
A total of 37 ex-Agniveers, belonging to 15 different districts of Rajasthan, have been selected under this recruitment.
The document verification process will be conducted between December 1 and December 10, 2026. Candidates must appear in person at the Police Headquarters during this period.
The highest number of 7 candidates has been selected from Nagaur district. This is followed by 5 candidates from Churu and 4 from Bharatpur.
