To maintain security and authenticity, NTA does not allow candidates to change all details in the application form. Candidates are permitted to make corrections only in selected fields.
After the application correction process ends, candidates' entire focus shifts to exam preparation and the important documents related to it. NTA releases two main documents related to the exam:
This is an information slip separate from the admit card, which is issued to inform candidates about their allotted exam city. Its main purpose is to help candidates make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance. The UGC NET December 2026 Exam City Slip will be released on November 23, 2026.
This is the most crucial document for entry into the exam hall. Candidates' admit cards will be uploaded on the official website on December 07, 2026. The admit card will include the exact exam date, time (shift), name and address of the exam center, and important instructions to be followed on the exam day. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center without an admit card and a valid ID proof.
The UGC NET exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. This exam consists of two papers, and there is no break between the two papers.
This is an extremely crucial time for more than 9.75 lakh candidates appearing for the UGC NET December 2026 exam. Any minor mistake in the application form can lead to your admit card being withheld or cause trouble at the exam center. Therefore, without any delay, check your application form before 11:50 PM on November 04, 2026, and if any correction is required, complete it immediately.
After completing the correction process, focus your entire attention on your studies. Make mock tests a part of your daily routine to finalize your preparation and self-evaluate. Move forward with determination and the right strategy. Wishing all the candidates the very best for the exam from Patamde Study!
