Big and important news is emerging for lakhs of candidates who appeared in the Rajasthan Class 4 Employee Recruitment Examination. If you too are eagerly waiting for the Rajasthan 4th Grade Waiting List, Alok Raj, the Chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), has shared a major update for you. Recently, while replying to a candidate's question on the social media platform X (Twitter), he clarified when and under what circumstances the Class 4 recruitment waiting list will be released.
Following this official statement, the situation regarding the Rajasthan 4th Grade Waiting List has become completely clear. In this article, we will tell you when the waiting list is expected to be released, what role different departments play in this, and how much the cut-off is likely to drop.
Selection Board Chairman Alok Raj is highly active on social media and frequently clears the doubts of candidates from time to time. Recently, a candidate asked him a direct question:
"Alok Raj Ji, please tell us when you will release the 4th Grade Waiting List?"
To this, Chairman Alok Raj gave a straightforward reply, highlighting two of the most important points:
This response makes it clear that the Board is fully prepared to release the waiting list, but it is mandatory for certain administrative procedures to be completed and for data to be received from the departments.
According to the Rajasthan Service Rules and the Board's provisions, there is a specific timeline for releasing the waiting list after the main result or recommendations of any recruitment exam are issued. In the case of the Class 4 recruitment, this timeline works as follows:
This simply means that the Board must release the waiting list for this recruitment before 07 February 2027 under all circumstances. According to the rules, the provision to release the waiting list expires after this period.
| Description | Important Date / Deadline |
|---|---|
| Conduct of Main Exam | September 2025 |
| Main Result (90% Recommendation) | 08 August 2026 |
| Maximum Time as per Rules | 6 Months |
| Deadline to Release Waiting List | Before 07 February 2027 |
| Expected Time of Waiting List Release | Between January 2027 and February 2027 |
Many candidates are wondering why the Rajasthan 4th Grade Waiting List is taking so much time if the result was declared in August 2026. The main reason for this is the data received from the Administrative Reforms Department (ARD) and other concerned government departments.
When the final result of any recruitment is declared, selected candidates are given a specific timeframe to join. In this recruitment, there are many candidates who have already been selected for other better jobs (such as LDC, Patwari, or Teacher recruitment). Such candidates do not join this Class 4 post.
The list of posts that remain vacant (Non-joining report/DV Report) is sent by the respective departments to the Administrative Reforms Department (ARD). After this, ARD compiles this data and sends it to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB).
Chairman Alok Raj has made it clear that the Board cannot release the waiting list until complete data on vacant posts and non-joiners is received from all departments. As soon as the reports from all departments are received by the Board, the work on the waiting list will be completed, and it will be uploaded to the website.
Since the Rajasthan Class 4 Employee Recruitment is a massive recruitment drive (comprising more than 53,749 posts), the number of vacant posts is also expected to be quite high.
According to initial reports coming from various departments, hundreds of candidates have skipped their joining or have not assumed charge due to selection in other exams. It is estimated that a waiting list could be released for approximately 3,000 to 5,000 or even more vacant posts. A waiting list on such a large scale will directly benefit those candidates who missed out on the main list by a very small margin.
The drop in the cut-off for the Rajasthan 4th Grade Waiting List will entirely depend on how many candidates from which category have not joined. However, due to a large number of vacant posts, a significant drop in the cut-off can be expected:
Important Suggestion: Candidates whose marks are 1 or 2 marks below the main cut-off should keep their documents ready, as there is a strong possibility of their selection in the waiting list.
If you missed out on this recruitment by a few marks, there is absolutely no need to be disappointed. The Board will definitely release the waiting list before 07 February 2027 under the rules. Until then, you should not stop your preparation. Keep preparing for other upcoming major recruitments in Rajasthan alongside.
